A coordinated humanitarian initiative led by Friends of Montserrat Care (FOMC) and the Social Advancement Group has delivered essential food, clothing, and living supplies to vulnerable residents across Montserrat, following a large-scale packing and distribution effort on March 21, 2026.
On the ground, dozens of volunteers supported the unpacking and distribution process, working alongside Montserrat Red Cross staff to load and dispatch supplies across the island. Among those assisting were Emmanuella Jean (Programmes & Projects Officer), Delmaude C. Ryan, Social Service Director Shaaron Williams, FOMC board members Victor E. Lewis, Darryl Chalmers, and Jessica Chalmers, members of The Montserrat Progressive Society of NY, and Tanisha from UCAP Shipping.
